Field Trips
We believe that field trips are an important part of the education experience. During the 2019-2020 school year we are going to try to take the classes on at least one field trip per month. Below is a list of the trips we have planned so far. We will be including more information as it becomes available. The information below is also subject to change.
- August 31, 9:30-12:00
- Keeneland (5th Grade Only) $3.00
- Chaperones Not Needed
- Students will travel with other 5th graders from around the district to learn about the importance of the horse industry in Kentucky. While at Keeneland students will experience a mock horse auction, meet with veterinarians to discuss horse health, and get to talk with numerous horse experts. Studies before the trip will focus on the horse industry's impact on the economy of Kentucky and how STEM skills are important in the horse industry.

- Students will Learn about fossils and following that go on a hike. We will be eating lunch there so you can order a school lunch on the permission slip or you can pack a disposable bag with the lunch inside.
